    About This Event

    Join us on Saturday, November 14, 2026, for the 7th Annual Hope House Detroit 5K at Belle Isle!

    This exciting event brings the community together to support Hope House Detroit’s mission of accompanying and encouraging kids in the Jefferson-Chalmers neighborhood of East Detroit. Since 2010, Hope House Detroit has been a space where kids can learn, grow, and thrive — and every step you take helps make that mission possible.

    Race Details

    Event Opening: 8:30 AM – Packet pickup and same-day registration open. 5K Run/Walk $35: 9:00 AM – Timed by Eastside Racing Company, this scenic course takes runners through the beautiful Belle Isle Park, with plenty of views to enjoy along the way. Kids’ 1-Mile Fun Run $20: 10:00 AM – A special race for participants aged 13 and under, perfect for young runners to join in the fun! Race Shirts $15: Commemorative Belle Isle 5K t-shirts will be available for purchase when you register before October 31st! A limited quantity of T-shirts will be available to purchase the day of the race. Post-Race Refreshments: Water and light snacks will be provided for all participants

    Why We Run Every registration and donation goes directly to Hope House Detroit, a non-profit dedicated to providing mentorship, education, and community support to kids and families in the Jefferson-Chalmers neighborhood. Together, we can continue to build a brighter future for Detroit’s next generation.
