New Athlete Assessment & Eligibility
To maintain a safe and productive training environment, all athletes must meet the minimum performance standards for their respective programs.
New Athletes:
Athletes who are new to the Upstate Running Club Youth Program must schedule an assessment before joining.
The assessment will help coaches evaluate the athlete's current fitness, running ability, and readiness for structured training.
Coaches will determine whether the Youth or Developmental Program is the appropriate fit.
Meeting the minimum performance standards does not automatically guarantee placement. Coaches will also consider the athlete's readiness to participate safely in group training.

Athletes will have the opportunity to participate in several indoor track meets throughout the winter season. All meets are held at Tryon International Equestrian Center, Mill Spring, NC.
