    About This Event

    Ho’ōla-To Heal

    On Sunday, June 13, 2027, we welcome runners, joggers, and walkers of all fitness levels to unite at the Ho‘ōla 5K. This 3.1-mile race through Kalama Valley is professionally timed for competitive participants, while also allowing strollers in a family-friendly environment. 

    This race aims to foster connection and care within our local community by raising funds for the Hawai‘i Primary Care Association. HPCA is a nonprofit organization that strengthens Hawai‘i’s primary care system by advocating for, expanding access to, and sustaining high‑quality health care through its statewide network of Community Health Centers. For over 30 years, HPCA has supported community-driven health care that improves access for underserved and vulnerable populations across Hawai‘i. Mid-Pacific Road Runners Club will make a donation from the race income along with all donations made to the HPCA.

    In addition to fundraising, the Ho‘ōla 5K amplifies awareness of healthcare disparities and empowers participants to make a lasting impact through every step of the race. For those who wish to contribute further, this site features a donations page.

    The Ho’ōla 5K will start at 7:00 a.m. The race start and finish will be at Kalama Valley Community Park. 

    There will be awards for the overall top 3 female and male finishers as well as the top 3 male and female finishers in 5 year age groups.

    There will also be awards for the top three finishers in the stroller division. Only the runner pushing the stroller needs to register, not the child in the stroller.

    Following the race there will be refreshments at the park.

    Race tee shirts will be available for purchase during registration.
