Hi everyone,
We have a quick update about the Miles for Missouri 5K scheduled for September 19th.
Unfortunately, due to low registration numbers, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the official 5K event. We truly appreciate everyone who signed up and supported us, and we will be refunding 100% of your registration fee, including the RunSignup processing fees.
Refunds will be processed through RunSignup and returned to the original payment method used when you registered. You do not need to do anything to request your refund. We will begin processing those immediately, although it may take several business days for the refund to appear on your account.
If you made an additional donation to the Conservation Federation of Missouri when you registered, that donation will also be refunded. If you would like your donation to remain with CFM, please let us know and we will be happy to keep it as a donation.
But we don't want that to stop us from getting outside!
We would still love for you to join us on Saturday, September 19th at 9:00 a.m. for a free, casual 3-mile walk/run through Jefferson City. There will be no registration fee, no race clock, and no pressure - just a chance to get outside, enjoy some fresh air and spend a little time together.

We’ll start at the CFM office and make our way up around the Capitol, then head down to Adrian’s Island before making our way back past the office, across the bridge to the Noren River Access, and back to the office for refreshments.
You can walk, jog, run, or simply come enjoy the morning with us. We’d love to see you there!
And there is some good news! Our wonderful sponsors, Missouri Wildflower Nursery and Prairie Flower Tapestries, have still committed to purchasing a T-shirt for our participants. You will still receive a CFM T-shirt and a finishing medal as a thank-you for supporting the event.
Most importantly, thank you for supporting the Conservation Federation of Missouri. We know you signed up because you believe in getting outside and supporting Missouri’s great outdoors, and we are incredibly grateful for that support. Even though the 5K didn’t come together the way we had hoped, we’re still going to make the most of the day!
