Join Bright Star Community Outreach (BSCO) for our 5K Run/Walk - Hope in Action fundraiser on Saturday, May 16, starting at 9:00 AM. This community-centered race will begin in Mandrake Park and continue along the beautiful lakefront, offering participants a scenic and energizing route.
This event supports BSCO’s mission to serve under-resourced communities by expanding access to critical resources such as food distribution, community programming, and supportive services for families across Bronzeville and surrounding neighborhoods. Whether you are running for a personal best, walking with friends, or showing up in support of the community, every step helps us continue this important work.
Participants of all fitness levels are welcome. Come out, move with purpose, and help us build stronger, healthier, and more connected communities.
