Lace up and join the Irvine High School community for the Vaquero Strong 5K, hosted by the Irvine High School PTSA and ASB!
On Saturday, October 24, 2026, students, families, friends, neighbors, and runners from across Southern California will come together for a fun, energetic morning celebrating the spirit of Irvine High. Whether you're chasing a personal best, walking with friends, or bringing the whole family, there's a place for you at the starting line.
Come for the 5K. Stay for the celebration!
Every participant will receive a custom race shirt and finisher medal, and runners will have the chance to earn age-group awards, with awards presented three deep in each division, through age 70+.
And the fun doesn't stop at the finish line. Enjoy coffee, food, and treats available for purchase before and after the race while you celebrate with the Irvine High community.

Updates to the Mental Health Wellness Center Teacher mini grants Student scholarships Student recognition programs, including the Spur & Heritage Awards And other initiatives that make a meaningful difference on campus
