The fast little multiple lap marathon in suburban Philadelphia

(1) ONE MILE LOOP then (8) 3.15 MILE LAPS for a CERTIFIED FULL MARATHON Start and Finish at a common point.

CERTIFICATION performed by a World Athletic “A” certifier. Highest and lowest points on the course 14’ difference

Event will be USATF sanctioned on a certified course, making it BQ eligible.

 

PERSONAL BOTTLE STATION available each loop, space for (8) bottles in caddy, additional “neutral aid” station with water on north loop

 

TECHNICAL MEETING, BOTTLE DROP and PACKET PICK-UP SATURDAY EVENING at Host Hotel, Villanova Room

 

Chronotrack CHIP TIMED with runBUCKS INDIVIDUAL START (first utilized during the pandemic, with the Houston pinch point)

 

PACERS: We are actively seeking pacers for the following paces: 2:37, 2:45, 2:55, 3:00, 3:05, 3:15, 3:20, 3:25 hour pacers. PAcers are requested to go through 16 miles.

TIME LIMIT: Course closes at 3hours 26 minutes

 

HOST HOTEL: Sheraton Bucks County Langhorne,  400 Oxford Valley Rd, Langhorne, PA 19047 $140 room night rates. Staff vows to cheer participants as they load buses as the head to the start, in the tradition of the Fairmount Copley staff at BAA Boston Marathon. The hotel will offer late check out to participants, so you can shower before you head home, and their restaurant will do a pasta buffet on Saturday evening. More info: SHERATON BUCKS COUNTY

TRAVEL:

AIRPORTS PHL(35 miles), TNT (11 miles) ACY (66 miles) and ABE (76 miles) are rental car close. EWR (57 miles) has trains to Hamilton Train Station

TRAIN: TRENTON TRANSIT CENTER (Amtrack-6 miles) or HAMILTON TRAIN STATIONS (NJT-11miles) are Uber close.

DRIVE: Convenient to I-76 (Pennsylvania Turnpike) I-95 and I-295 locate just north of Philadelphia and south of Trenton, New Jersey

 

PARKING is limited. Athlete buses, leaving from the Host Hotel will reduce issue. Spectator and volunteer parking plans and the possibility of a parking shuttle will be addressed.
