New Year’s Day 5K & 8K — Traditional & Prediction Race 🎉🏃♀️🏃♂️
Start 2027 on the right foot!
Join us for a fun and inspiring New Year’s Day run/walk as we celebrate new beginnings, fresh goals, and endless possibilities. Whether you're chasing a new personal record, kickstarting a healthier lifestyle, or simply enjoying time outdoors with friends and family, this is the perfect way to welcome the New Year.
You choose how you want to race — Traditional or Prediction!
⏱️ Take the Prediction Challenge
Choose the Prediction 5K (3.1 miles) or Prediction 8K (4.97 miles) and predict how long you think it will take you to finish.
Here’s the twist: NO watches, phones, GPS devices, earbuds giving pace updates, or other timing devices allowed! You’ll have to rely completely on your own internal clock.
Your predicted finish time will be submitted the morning of the race, and the official computer time will determine your actual finish. Prediction awards go to the participants who finish closest to their predicted time — not necessarily the fastest!
🏃 Or Keep It Traditional
Not into predicting your time? No problem! Choose the Traditional 5K or 8K and simply run or walk your race.
Set a new PR, work toward a new goal, or just enjoy a scenic course and a great morning with the running and walking community.
Please note: There are NO overall top-finisher prizes for the Traditional 5K or 8K. This option is all about your time, your goals, and starting 2027 your way!

For participants registered in the Prediction 5K & 8K, prizes will be awarded to:
5K — Overall Top 3 Male & Female 8K — Overall Top 3 Male & Female
