Thank you for registering for Run for the Grapes, a 28 year tradition at the 127th annual Tontitown Grape Festival! Please read through this race info and let us know if you have any other questions.
LOCATION:
The start and finish line are near 267 N Barrington, the property just south of the Tontitown Winery and across the street from the Tontitown Post Office. Check-in, door prizes, awards, silent auction, snacks, and a porta potty are located on the west side of Barrington.
RECOMMENDED PARKING:
We recommend coming to the race via Highway 412 due to road closures beginning before the race. Turn north on Barrington from 412 (Henri de Tonti Blvd) and park in either the paved church parking lot or the first grass field on the right, just past the parking lot. Due to the size of the event, please plan to arrive early for parking and check-in purposes.
5K runners, please note you will not be able to leave going north on Barrington until after the 8am Fun Run has concluded and the timing company has been able to remove their equipment from the road. You can go south on Barrington to get back to 412.
EARLY REGISTRATION HAS ENDED! Thank you for the amazing turnout! All registrations through July 31 will have receive a labeled swag bag at Check-In with their t-shirt and other freebies inside.
T-shirt and swag bag are not guaranteed for registrations after July 31. Registrations after July 31 will receive t-shirts and swag bags FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE AT CHECK-IN SATURDAY MORNING (based on check-in, not date of registration).
New this year, 325 5K Finisher Medals have been ordered; if more than 325 runners participate, we are sorry that not everyone will receive a medal. As of Monday night, we are at 318 total registrations (5K and Fun Run) - this is a great turnout and we're so excited to see you all!
PACKET PICKUP: ALL CHECK-IN WILL BEGIN AT 6AM THE MORNING OF THE RACE! No early packet pickup due to Grape Festival traffic/parking on Friday. If you have registered ONLINE at any time (even on race day), report to the CHECK-IN table for packet pickup when you arrive. ARRIVAL BY 6:15AM RECOMMENDED.
IF YOU NEED TO PAY CASH OR CHECK ONLY, you can register in person that morning. ARRIVAL BY 6:15AM RECOMMENDED. Go to the REGISTRATION table when you arrive.

Silent Auction & Merch Sales 6am-8am - we recommend checking this out between the 5K and Awards!
Merch Sales: Metal Water Bottles $6, Vinyl Stickers $2, Venmo or Tap to Pay only - no cash. Silent Auction: Home Organizing Service by Haven & Harmony, Teeth Whitening Package by Dr. Chaney/DMC Dental, Activate IV & Cryotherapy, Sudbury Brass Standing Crucifix, & Wreath by Treeations; this is an "old fashioned" silent auction on paper! Payment at end of auction will be due by Venmo, Tap to Pay, cash, or check. All proceeds go to our children and youth programming! Post-Race Snacks beginning at 7:20am - locally grown grapes from Ranalli Farms, cookies by Cover Me In Cakes, and more!
Door Prizes beginning at 7:40am - from many generous donors including Rush Running, Pozza's Pasta, and local restaurants and entertainment! All registrations up to 24 hours before race time will be eligible for door prizes!
Awards beginning at 8:20am or as soon as all Fun Run participants have finished the race! Overall and age group awards will be given!
Run for the Grapes 5K & Kids ½ Mile Run Join us for one of Northwest Arkansas' favorite summer traditions at the annual Run for the Grapes in beautiful Tontitown! Held during the historic Tontitown Grape Festival, this family-friendly event combines fitness, community, and a celebration of the area's rich Italian heritage. The Run for the Grapes has become a festival tradition, welcoming runners and walkers of all ages to a fun and memorable race experience.
All proceeds benefit our ministries to children and youth, including Wednesday night programming for over 180 student in PreK-High School, Vacation Bible School, retreats, service projects, and high school youth group trips and events. Whether you're chasing a personal best, competing for an age group award, or cheering on your child in the Fun Run, there's something for everyone. After the race, stay and enjoy everything the Tontitown Grape Festival has to offer, including live entertainment, arts and crafts, carnival rides, and the famous spaghetti dinner.

Location The race takes place in Tontitown, located in the heart of Northwest Arkansas and home to the historic Tontitown Grape Festival, a community celebration dating back to 1899. The start and finish line are near 267 N Barrington, just north of the church parking lot and south of the post office.
