Join us in Gloucester Point on the VIMS & Batten School campus for the inaugural River & Bay 5K! Hosted by William & Mary's VIMS & Batten School, this family-friendly community event is an opportunity for runners, walkers and science enthusiasts of all ages to experience our scenic campus along the York River.

Open to the public, the race includes a timed 5K, a 1-Mile Fun Run, and awards for top finishers (and a special Halloween costume competition to celebrate the day!). Stick around after the race to learn about our cutting-edge scientific research with interactive exhibits, hands-on activities for kids, oyster tastings, and more!
