Ghost of the Coast 5K Saturday, October 31, 2026 | 7:30 AM Eastwood Golf Course | Fort Myers, Florida

Something spooky is taking over the fairways this Halloween.

Join the Fort Myers Police Department and Apex Promoz at Eastwood Golf Course for the Ghost of the Coast 5K, a Halloween morning filled with running, costumes, candy and family fun. Participants will take on a scenic 5K course through one of Fort Myers’ most unique race locations while all you ghosts, goblins, pirates, superheroes and other creatures roam the grounds.

The race will benefit the Fort Myers Police Department Police Athletic League (PAL), supporting programs that serve local youth through athletics, mentorship and positive community engagement.

Costumes Highly Encouraged Come dressed to impress. Individual costumes, matching couples, family themes and costumed pets are all encouraged.

In addition to the traditional race awards, we will present costume awards for:

Best Family Costume Best Male Costume Best Female Costume Best Couple Costume Best Pet Costume Creativity counts, so do not show up wearing the same tired vampire cape you have had since 2009 and expect to walk away with a trophy.

Race Awards Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female finishers, along with male and female age-group winners.

Halloween Finish-Line Party The fun does not end when you cross the finish line. Kids can collect candy at the finish, and participants and families can enjoy:
