RACE POSTPONED
We would like to let everyone know that the Black & Yellow 5K benefiting the Class of 2030, originally scheduled for this Sunday, September 27, has been postponed due to the forecasted nor’easter.
Out of an abundance of caution for everyone involved, the race has been rescheduled for Sunday, October 18.
The race will still begin at 9:00 AM, with packet pickup beginning at 7:30 AM.
Thank you so much for your understanding and flexibility. We look forward to seeing everyone on October 18!
Join us for a 5k fundraiser to support Southern Regional’s Class of 2030 on Sunday, October 18th across the Southern Regional campus!
Parking will be available at Southern Regional High School (90 Cedar Bridge Road, Manahawkin, NJ), and the race start village will be at Southern Regional Middle School (75 Cedar Bridge Road, Manahawkin, NJ) across the street.
Packet pick-up will begin on Sunday 10/18 at 7:30am on race morning at the start village (75 Cedar Bridge Road, Manahawkin, NJ) and the race will begin at 9:00am.
The race starts on Sunday at 9am but be sure to come early so you have time to pick up your bib and enjoy all of our generously donated race amenities! There will be a water hydration station, bagels from Bagels and Beyond, Yellow Dog Coffee Roasters coffee, bananas donated by the Strong Grounds Foundation, electrolyte mixes from Fitness Faction, $10 one-week unlimited trial coupon cards for group fitness classes to Local Motion, and local community support from SETS Barnegat! Along with our amazing vendors, Black Sheep Studios will be running a guided warm-up class for runners on the middle school lawn from 8:15-8:45! Black Sheep will also be available for post-race recovery stretching after the race.
Race t-shirts will be picked up with bibs before the race Sunday morning (if registered by 9/11). Awards for the top three overall male and female finishers. Thank you SO much for your participation and support of The Class of 2030!
