    About This Event

Run, walk, move, and have FUN for a great cause!

Join GirlStrong for a community Fun Run celebrating girls both locally and around the world. Participants can choose their own distance—from 1 to 3 miles—and run, walk, skip, dance, or move at their own pace. There are no finish-time goals and no pressure—the only goal is to have fun, be active, and make an impact!

This year, proceeds from the GirlStrong Fun Run will support an incredible young woman who is using running to bring awareness and create opportunities to empower girls living in areas affected by conflict.

Your participation will help support her journey and the important work she is doing to show that movement can be a powerful tool for confidence, connection, leadership, and change.

Any funds raised above and beyond our goal will help create a GirlStrong Scholarship Fund, making it possible for more girls in our community to participate in the program regardless of financial barriers.

Bring your family, friends, teammates, and running buddies and come celebrate movement, community, and the power of girls supporting girls.

Choose your distance. Move your way. Have fun. Make an impact.

Strong Girls. Strong Communities. Stronger Together.

Fun Run begins promptly at 9:30am, race bib pickup will be held Friday October 2nd at the Lansing community center from 5-7pm or Saturday morning beginning at 9am at Myers Park.
