Danville Walk: A 9/25 Celebration of Literacy!

Tumble outta bed and put on your biggest hair, your sparkliest outfit, and your best attitude, because Danville’s first-ever Danville Walk is happening THIS MONTH!
Grab your coworkers, make it a corporate affair, and spend your lunch break walking for a wonderful cause. Bring the whole office, rally your team, and show Danville what happens when we put our community behind a good cause!
Event Details:
This is an easy, 1 mile, fun walk beginning and ending at The Dogeared Page, located at 525 Main Street. Costumes are encouraged (and will be celebrated!), but are not required! We’d love it if you’d come dressed in your very best attire, the bigger the hair and the more rhinestone sparkle, the better! Free bottled water and refreshments will be served at the shop after the walk for all participants. The first 100 registrants will receive a custom-designed “Danville Walk” enamel pin to commemorate their participation.
Registration
Registration is $20 per person and can be completed online through RunSignUp. Your registration includes participation in the walk, post-walk refreshments, and a custom-designed “Danville Walk” enamel pin to commemorate your participation (for the first 100 registrants).
So grab your friends, your coworkers, and your cowgirl boots (or maybe sneakers instead for this one, diva). Let’s make a little noise, spread a little love, celebrate a legendary woman, and help get more books into the hands of children everywhere.
