🌊 RACE THROUGH SAN DIEGO This isn't a race tucked away on the outskirts of town. SDIT puts you right in the middle of San Diego.
Start your morning on the waterfront at San Diego Bay and race through a course filled with some of the city's most recognizable scenery and historic landmarks.
🏊 SWIM — SAN DIEGO BAY Begin your race with an open-water swim in the waters of beautiful San Diego Bay.
🚴 BIKE — POINT LOMA Ride through Point Loma past incredible San Diego landmarks, including Cabrillo National Monument, the historic Point Loma Lighthouse, and Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery.
🏃 RUN — SAN DIEGO WATERFRONT Finish with a spectacular waterfront run past San Diego icons including the Star of India and USS Midway, before racing toward your downtown San Diego finish line.
There aren't many triathlons where the course itself feels like a tour of the city.
🏁 CHOOSE YOUR RACE You don't have to do the full triathlon to be part of SDIT. Choose the challenge that's right for you.

It's 5K+ — because we couldn't stop the fun at exactly 5K. It's actually 5.6K / 3.5 miles!
🍺 CELEBRATE AT THE FINISH — AND SUPPORT A 45-YEAR TRADITION Crossing the finish line is only the beginning of the celebration.
Stick around for live music, our race expo, massages, mimosas, and the Modern Times & Ashland Seltzer Beer Garden on the San Diego waterfront.
And there's an important reason the Beer Garden has been part of SDIT for so many years.
❤️ All proceeds from the Beer Garden benefit Father Joe's Villages.
Supporting Father Joe's Villages has been an SDIT tradition for 45 years, making giving back to the San Diego community part of this race from the very beginning.
So when you raise a glass after crossing the finish line, you're not only celebrating your accomplishment — you're helping carry on a 45-year tradition of athletes supporting Father Joe's Villages and our San Diego community.
