You can do it at a trot, you can do it at a wobble, so your heart won't palpitate.... Just don't be late.... DO THE TURKEY TROT!!!
Get ready to trot or wobble for a cause! Join us for our 3rd Annual CMMS Booster Club Turkey Trot, a 5k Community Fundraiser & Food Drive. This event is more than just a race—it’s a chance to give back to our Cougars. Proceeds from the 5K support our Booster Club’s general fund, helping us provide resources and opportunities for our school community that school funds alone can't cover.
In addition, we’re hosting a food drive alongside our CMMS Counseling Team to provide Thanksgiving meal support within our CMMS community. Participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to donate on race day. Together, we can make a meaningful difference while celebrating the season of giving!
This is a non timed walk/run 5k event on the grounds of Cougar Mountain Middle School in Graham, WA with a "choose your own adventure" approach: stick to the track (stroller friendly) or run the Turkey Trot course!
Entry Fee: $15 (Early Registration), $20 (Week of Event) Kids 5 & under free
Check-in: 8:30am Race starts: 9am
DONATION CHALLENGE: The top 3 students to receive donations made in their name will win prizes! During the donation process, simply choose "other" in the "in support of" and enter your student's name!
Best Dressed Costume Contest: Wear your most festive Thanksgiving attire—let’s see those turkey hats, pumpkin costumes, blow up turkey costumes and autumn colors!
Food Donation Drive: Please bring non-perishable food items to donate that are appropriate for a Thanksgiving meal, such as boxed, canned, or jarred goods options of stuffing, gravy, olives, beans, cranberry sauce, mac & cheese, pasta, and rice. Your generosity will help ensure everyone has a warm meal this holiday season.
Strollers, Dogs & Bikes
We encourage the use of jogging strollers along the track route of this family-friendly 5K, as the 5K all-terrain course may involve stairs. Additionally, out of consideration for other participants, dogs will not be allowed on the course (with the exception of service dogs). For the safety and convenience of all participants, bikes are NOT permitted.
Concessions will be available for purchase including water, coffee, doughnuts & pastries!
Bring your friends, family, and community spirit! We can't wait to see you! (All ages welcome however this is a no drop off event, meaning all students must be accompanied by an adult.)
