The United Way of Rhea County Jingle Bell Run is a festive, family-friendly way to kick off the holiday season while supporting local families! The race begins and ends at the United Way of Rhea County office, 224 4th Avenue, Dayton, TN, with a start time of 8:30 AM. Street parking is available throughout the surrounding area, and restrooms will be available inside the United Way office. Participants can choose the 5K race ($35) or the 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk ($20). Packet pickup ( Bib and T- Shirt) will be held December 4th at the United Way of Rhea County Office 224 4th Avenue, Suite 101, Dayton, TN 37321 from 5:00–7:00 PM, with race-morning pickup at the United Way of Rhea County office from 6:30–8:00 AM.

And don’t just register—create a team! We’re adding a Jingle Bell Run Team Challenge this year and encouraging everyone to grab some coworkers, friends, neighbors, church members, or family and run or walk together. Teams will compete for trophies and bragging rights for Largest Business Team, Largest Family/Friends Team, and Most Festive Team. Christmas costumes are absolutely encouraged—for people and pups! Dogs are welcome on a leash, and strollers are welcome for walkers only.

After you cross the finish line, stick around for the fun! While we’re waiting for race results and awards, Santa will be there for pictures, so get those team photos, family photos, kid photos—and yes, Santa is happy to pose with the dogs, too! The Jingle Bell Run will be held rain or shine, and registration fees are non-refundable. Whether you’re racing the 5K, walking the mile, dressing like an elf, bringing the dog, or gathering the biggest team in town, create your team, invite your people, and come jingle with us!
