Run Together at the Kirkland Turkey Trot!
Gather your family, invite your friends, and kick off the holiday season together at the Kirkland Turkey Trot 5K, 10K, and Lil’ Gobbler Run!
Join us Sunday, November 15, 2026, at 9:00 AM at Juanita Beach Park for a fun and welcoming event designed for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Whether you are chasing a personal best, completing your first race, or simply enjoying an active morning with the people you care about, the Kirkland Turkey Trot is about moving together and creating lasting memories.
The scenic 5K and 10K courses begin and end at Juanita Beach Park. Along the way, participants will travel to and through Juanita Bay Park, enjoy views of Lake Washington and the Seattle skyline, and return across the historic Market Street Bridge.
Inspiring the Next Generation
The Kirkland Turkey Trot is a wonderful opportunity to introduce younger runners to the joy of being active. Families can participate together, encourage one another along the course, and show children that exercise can be fun, social, and rewarding.
Every young person who reaches the finish line has something to celebrate—whether they run, jog, walk, or receive a little help along the way.
Lil’ Gobbler Run
The Lil’ Gobbler Run gives our youngest participants their own moment to shine! This quarter-mile run takes place entirely within Juanita Beach Park and is designed for children ages 2–6.
Parents, grandparents, siblings, and friends are encouraged to cheer them on as they experience the excitement of participating in their own race and crossing the finish line.
Keep the Celebration Going
After the race, bring your family and friends to Moss Bay Hall at 111 Central Way in downtown Kirkland for a festive post-race celebration featuring great beer, delicious pretzels, and plenty of holiday cheer.
