Get ready to run, walk, wag, and HOWL with us on Saturday, October 24 at the 13th Annual Howl-O-Ween Mutt Run 5K Run/Walk!
Whether you’re a serious runner, a casual walker, a dedicated dog person, or just looking for a fun Halloween morning with your favorite four-legged friend, there’s a place for you in our pack!
And this year, we’re running for a BIG reason: our goal is to raise $120,000 to help provide the food, shelter, medical care, and second chances our rescue dogs need while they wait for their forever homes.

The Howl-O-Ween Mutt Run isn’t just an event on our calendar – it’s a mission in motion. Every step we take, every dollar we raise, provides the lifesaving care for the 900 dogs we rescue each year.
This year, we reached an incredible milestone: our 16,000th dog rescued. These dogs faced an empty future and now have loving homes, warm beds, and a second chance. But for thousands more in Southern California, the fight is far from over. Many dogs are still trapped in overcrowded, heartbreaking shelter conditions, where the only way out is euthanasia.
We house the dogs we save at our Rescue Ranch Care Center where hope begins the moment they arrive. Each dog receives medical treatment, nourishing food, exercise, training, and most of all—love. Every day, over 150 dogs who once had nowhere to turn are safe because of Your Generosity!
When you run, you’re not just crossing a finish line—you’re crossing a lifeline. You’re giving a dog the one thing they want most: A Future To Howl About!
