The 4th Annual Zachary M. Negrón Unforgettable Trail Run and Fun Run is a family-friendly event with a competitive edge. Both the 5K and 10K races are timed with a chip for those wanting some competition! Again this year, we have a Fun Run for the youngest runners, allowing them to participate in the day’s festivities, which will allow those in second grade or younger to run a mile around the Georgia Cumberland Academy track.
We run in honor of two causes. The Unforgettable Foundation of Tennessee assists at-risk and grieving families with finances to help them afford a timely and dignified funeral for their children. The Zachary M. Negrón Memorial Scholarship gives scholarships to a select number of students at Georgia-Cumberland Academy who mirror the traits of perseverance and hard work, characteristics Zachary embraced as a student at GCA to accomplish his goals.
