The Swim
Takes place in the pool at The GYM. All swimming styles and strokes are welcome—including the doggy paddle! Full water safety staff will be on duty throughout the event. If your child gets tired, they are welcome to slow down, stop, or rest at any time before continuing.
The Bike
Bikers will head out to the scenic Cape Carteret Trail. Helmets are strictly required and must be buckled before exiting the transition area. Volunteer course marshals and staff will guide turns and control driveway traffic. No headphones or earbuds, period.
The Run
A flat, clearly marked route along the Cape Carteret Trail, fully lined with volunteers to cheer on and direct participants toward the finish line. No headphones or earbuds, period. Walking is always permitted.
Event Capacity & Wave Starts
To maintain small group safety and individual attention, registration is capped at 48 total participants (8 athletes per wave). Spots will fill quickly, so be sure to secure your child’s spot early!
