Come join the very first 5K that has lumpia at the finish line! Created by Skedaddle and the Central Valley Association of PeriOperative Registered Nurses (CVAORN), this fun run/walk is to raise funds for nurse’s education and community outreach projects.

On behalf of the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN), Central Valley Chapter 0520—a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit—we’re thrilled to share an exciting opportunity to support nursing education and promote safe, high-quality surgical care with this run/walk! We’re proud to announce our inaugural Make Every Step Count Run/Walk 5K, happening on Saturday, February 20, 2026, at Michaels Faklis Park in Stockton, CA. This vibrant community event will unite healthcare professionals, educators, students, local leaders and members of our community to raise vital funds that enhance patient safety across our healthcare system including;
● Nursing scholarships
● Certification and continuing education programs
● Monthly chapter lectures and seminars
● Chapter delegates attending the AORN National Surgical Expo
● Educational events for perioperative nurses and surgical technologists
● Community outreach and patient safety initiatives
