We're excited to present the Don's Backyard BBQ 20K/10K Trail Running Race! This is great double track off-road running experience. The race will start at "Entrance B" (down by the UGA Boat Ramp). This is a very fast, flowing trail system and sets up to be great! If you are headed out to pre-run, we're Running this One in a "Clockwise Direction". See Race Rules / Format Below!
There are two distance options 20K/10K to choose from.
Packet Pick Up is from 6:30-7:30 / Race Starts at 8:00 a.m. Sharp!

Dirty Spokes will be handing out medals and prizes to our overall top 3 male and female finishers for each race as well as overall male and female maters, grandmasters and senior grandmasters winners. We will also be handing out medals to our top 3 male and female finishers in each age group (9&U, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-49, 80&U) - you must be present to receive your medal as they will not be mailed.
The Rules: Each runner will have 45 minutes (14 minute pace) to complete each 5K. At the end of each 45 minute segment the next 5K run will start. Runners failing to finish a 5K segment within the 45 minutes will be posted as DNF (NO EXCEPTIONS).
Segment Start Times: 8:00am, 8:45am, 9:30am, 10:15am.
A contest of speed versus stamina. BBQ dinner and refreshments will be served after the last 5K segment has finished and times are tallied for awards.
