Six o'clock on an October Saturday evening: a quick burst off the Bridgeway Station entrance, up and over the iconic bridge, then a fast, festive out-and-back through the heart of Bridgeway with smooth turns, big cheers, and just enough climb to earn what comes next. What comes next is a cold beer and a barbecue.
Course or Race Highlight
October evenings in the Upstate are close to perfect running weather, and a 5K is the distance that lets everyone in your group take part without anyone having to train for it. This is deliberately the easiest race on our calendar to say yes to — short, flat, paved, and over in the time it takes for the barbecue to finish.
Your registration includes a complimentary beer at the finish and access to the post-race barbecue celebration, with music, great vibes, and a Saturday-night atmosphere. Every finisher receives a medal, event-themed giveaways, a custom race sticker for your cooler, water bottle, or toolbox, and complimentary race photos. Your entry supports local nonprofits through the Giving Series.

Starting right at the Bridgeway Station entrance, runners kick things off with a quick burst of energy before charging up and over the iconic Bridgeway Station Bridge. From there, it's a fast, festive out-and-back style run through the heart of Bridgeway, with smooth turns, big cheers, and just enough climb to earn what comes next.

Are dogs allowed on the course?

Is there race-day registration?
Yes, you can register on your mobile device.
Where are the start and finish lines?
Same location for both, at the entrance of Bridgeway Station. Look for the green tent and green arch.
Is there gear check or somewhere to leave personal items?
No.
Are there restrooms near the start/finish or on course?
There are restrooms in the start/finish area inside Bridgeway Station, but none on the course.
Will I get a medal or a shirt?
All finishers receive a medal. You can purchase a shirt through our Apparel Now store and it will be shipped directly to you.
What happens if there's bad weather?
Upstate Race Series races run rain or shine. In the event of lightning, extreme heat, or hazardous winter conditions, we'll post an update on this page and email registered runners as early as possible. Entry fees aren't refunded for weather delays — see Managing Your Registration below.
Can spectators come watch?
Spectators are welcome. Runner parking fills up race morning — if you're only here to cheer, plan for overflow parking nearby.
When will results and photos be available?
Live results post to the RunSignUp results page as each runner finishes. Free event photos are usually up within 48–72 hours on our Facebook page — we'll tag the album so it's easy to find.
