This event celebrates women in sports, and the women often outnumber and out run the men in this race through Indian Head Acres. It has a unique twist in that the women start at 8:00 a.m., and the men start 5 minutes later.
This is a FPSITE Safety Council Transportation Safety Month Activity Benefitting the Panhandle Chapter of Girls on the Run that is sponsored by First Commerce Credit Union.
Handmade artisan awards to the top FIVE women and first man, plus Masters, Grand Masters and Great Grand Masters for both genders
Age group awards for top 3 in 5 years age groups ranging from 10-14 to 90-95.
Special Mother-Daughter Team award for the fastest combined time of a mother and daughter. Your team can include all of your daughters, but only the swiftest one will be scored.
