For race directors
The event shop
Sell your race's items to anyone, registered or not. Shirts, hats, parking passes, a pancake breakfast for a guest. Buyers pay once on their phone and pick up at the race.

The shop sells the items you already have on your Giveaways and add-ons page. There is nothing to enter twice: it uses each item's price, sizes, photo and stock. It has its own page: click Event shop in your sidebar, right under Giveaways and add-ons.
Open Items in the shop
On the Event shop page, click the Items in the shop tile.Switch items on
Turn on each item you want to sell. It saves right away. An item needs a price first; Edit item opens the same editor as Giveaways and add-ons.Check the status
The top of the page now says Open, with your shop's link and QR sign beside it.
You can also tick Anyone can buy this in the event shop under Sell it when you edit an item. In the Run This app, open the Director Dashboard, tap Giveaways and add-ons, edit the item and turn on Anyone can buy this in the event shop under Sell it.
An item sells in the shop at its price. To charge something different there, set Shop price under Sell it when you edit it: every size costs that in the shop. Left blank, it's the same price. An item that comes free with the entry can still sell in the shop at its price, so a guest can buy the race shirt.
Each item's Most one runner can get also caps one shop order. Set it to 4 and a buyer can put up to 4 in one order. Sales stop at the end of race day, or on the item's Stop selling on day and time when you set one, always in your race's time zone. If an item asks a question, like a name to print on the back, the shop asks it too.
Four tiles at the top of the Event shop page show what's set. Click one to change it in a side panel, then press Save.
- Items in the shop. Switch items in or out. Orders already placed keep their items.
- Where buyers find it. On your race page adds an Event shop button and an Event shop section to your race page and the app. Only by link keeps the shop off the race page and the app, for an invite-only shop. It still works for anyone with the link or the QR sign, and search engines don't list it. Neither changes your Event shop page.
- How buyers see items. Photo row shows your items as one strip of photos that scrolls sideways. List shows a short list of names and prices with no photos. This is how they look on your race page and the shop page.
- Pickup instructions. Where and when buyers pick up their order. Buyers see it at the top of your shop, at checkout, on the Order placed screen and in their receipt email.
In the Run This app, open the Director Dashboard and tap Event shop. Where buyers find it, how items show and pickup instructions are there, and save as soon as you change them. Put items in the shop from Giveaways and add-ons.
Next to the status at the top of the page, Copy link copies your shop's link. Print QR sign prints a letter-size sign for the check-in table: buyers scan it, pay on their phone, and show their code at the table. QR image saves the QR as a picture for your own flyers or posts. In the Run This app, Print QR sign opens the sign in your phone's browser, ready to print.
Buyers pay the item price and one processing fee per order, no matter how many items are in it. For example, a $25 shirt costs the buyer $27.32: the shirt and a $2.32 processing fee. You keep $25. The money goes to the same payout account as your registrations.
Orders, right under the tiles, lists every order with its pickup code, the buyer's name and email, the items (with any answer, like a name to engrave), what they paid and where it stands: To pick up, Picked up or Refunded. Search by name, email or code, or tap a status to see only those.
Click an order to open it. You see the buyer, the pickup code, every item with its size and answer, and what was paid. From there you can:
- Email the buyer. Opens an email to them about their order.
- Mark picked up. For an order handed over away from the check-in table. Undo takes it back.
- Fix an answer. Correct a typo in a name to engrave or print with Fix next to it.
- Refund items. Tick the items to give back and press the refund button. The buyer gets each item's price back. The processing fee isn't refunded. Refunded items go back in stock unless the order was already picked up.
In the Run This app, the orders are on the Event shop screen; tap the refund arrow on an order to refund items.
Every buyer gets a receipt email with a 6-character pickup code and a QR. On race day, Check In shows a Shop orders tab once your race has a shop order. Volunteers search the name or code, or scan the QR, then tap Picked up. See event shop orders at the table.
Shop orders also count in your Giveaways and add-ons downloads: the order sheet counts shop units, so you order enough, and the pickup list has a row for each shop item, marked Event shop.
