Adding items to your registration

You see an Add items button when the race is selling something you can buy right now. It shows up in a few places:

• My races. On your registration card. Your card also lists Your items, everything you pick up at the race.
• The race page. When you're signed in and registered, your ticket on the race page has an Add items strip along the bottom (one per person when you registered others too).
• Your confirmation email. When the race was already selling items as you registered, the email has an Add items button that opens your own private page. No sign-in needed.
• The Run This app. On the race screen, tap Add items on your ticket. Or open Settings & Info, tap My Registrations, then Add items.

Registered your family too? Each person's registration has its own button, so the items land on the right registration. The race can also send you your link.

1. Pick what you want

   Tick each item, and pick a size where there is one. You can buy one of each item per registration. Items you already have show under Your items.

2. Check the total

   The bill shows each item, one processing fee, and the total.

3. Pay

   Tap Pay and enter your card. When the payment goes through, the items are on your registration and we email you a receipt.

Items are pickup only. The race's pickup note (where and when to pick them up) shows on the page and in your receipt. When the race hasn't written one, pick them up at check-in.

Each purchase has one processing fee, worked out the same way as the fee on a registration. For example, a $10.00 item comes to $11.54 in total. Buying two items at once means one fee on the pair, not two.

Through the race's last day, in the race's time zone. A race can stop selling an item sooner, on a day or at a set time, and the item shows when (“Available until Nov 15, 5:00 PM CST”). If you press Pay before that, you have 15 minutes to finish paying; a payment that comes later is refunded in full. An item can also sell out. You can't add items to a cancelled registration or to a registration from an earlier year of the race.

Someone else may buy the last one while you type your card. When that happens, we refund the whole payment right away, items and fee, and email you to say so. The refund reaches your card in 5 to 10 days. Then reload the page to see what's still available.

Items are refunded by the race, so ask the race if you need one. When a race cancels your registration, it chooses whether to refund your items too. Either way, we email you when an item is refunded.
